Desk, Lab, and In-Vehicle Installation
Each Baseline real-time target machine can be pre-configured for in-vehicle installation. In addition, it can also be used for desk/lab placement.
Real-Time Performance
By default, the Baseline real-time target machine comes with a quad core CPU with a 2 GHz clock rate.
For applications or application components requiring sample rates up to the MHz range, you can choose from a selection of Simulink® Programmable FPGAs, also including lowest latency analog and digital I/O connectivity. For higher sample rates, you can choose the Performance real-time target machine.
Within Simulink®, you can define which application components you want to execute on the CPU, and which ones on one or multiple programmable FPGAs, at different sample rates. Also use the configurable I/O modules to configure I/O functionality from within the Simulink® environment.
High Speed Data Logging
Real-time testing frequently requires logging large amounts of data for an extended period of time, analyzed after real-time execution such as with Simulink® Simulation Data Inspector, you can hence choose SSDs with up to 256 GB of size for data logging.
