Serial I/O Module Supporting RS232/RS422/RS485

The IO581 I/O module is a 4-channel, RS232-, RS422- and RS485-capable asynchronous serial module with Simulink^® driver blocks.

The serial channels offer high flexibility as they are individually programmable. The maximum supported baud rate for RS232 is 1 Mbps and 10 Mbps for RS422/RS485. The termination is software-selectable for RS422 and RS485.

This I/O module is ideal for closed-loop controls and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations using MATLAB^® and Simulink^®.
