Each Speedgoat real-time target machine includes hardware warranty as well as 12 months' maintenance and technical support. Our solutions and service packages are designed to support you at every step of your projects. Contact us to discuss the different service packages and find out which one best suits your needs. Full Service Package

Benefit from our full service packages combining technical support, systems software maintenance, and hardware warranty at a very competitive price.

A full service package protects your investments by guaranteeing full compatibility with future MathWorks software releases and by providing access to the latest features and advanced technical support, hardware warranty and the provision of loaner components if anything breaks, so that you only experience minimal downtime (Subject to stock availability).

Full Service Packages are available for 3 and 5 years. Select the package matching your application life-cycle requirements and save compared with buying individual maintenance and warranty service packages.

A Full Service Package is the ideal complement for your system purchase and is our recommended choice.

Hardware Warranty

Speedgoat takes the utmost care to extensively test all components and follows strict quality control processes. Nevertheless, even the best piece of hardware can fail.

To protect your investment, the delivery of each target machine and I/O module therefore includes two years' hardware warranty as standard. During this period, defective hardware is repaired by Speedgoat at no charge.

Extended Warranty

Are you working on:

Projects with extended life cycles?
Projects where only minimal downtimes are allowed?
Multiple projects leveraging the same target machine?

Not a problem: Extended Level One and Level Two Hardware Warranty plans matching your life-cycle requirements are available optionally, will protect your investment over an extended period of time, and include loaner replacement services in case anything breaks (Subject to stock availability).

Minimal Downtime Service

Speedgoat guarantees the availability of all hardware components^* and will send out replacement loaner hardware to you free of charge, in case of a hardware technical failure. While you are working with the loaner, your original hardware will be repaired by Speedgoat. After the repair service is completed, the loaner hardware is replaced with the original, repaired hardware.

* As some of our I/O modules are available in many different variations, Speedgoat does not stock all options. Replacement for a small subset of I/O modules (e.g. IO42X, IO67X, IO68X, IO9XX types) is not guaranteed.

Systems Software Maintenance and Technical Support

Delivery of each real-time target machine, I/O module, and other hardware or software components includes 12 months' Systems Software Maintenance and Technical Support as standard.

The Systems Software Maintenance and Support service includes:

Access to the Speedgoat I/O Blockset, compatible with latest 6 MathWorks releases
Full access to our professional and friendly technical support team by phone, email or the web

Speedgoat solutions are extensively tested with latest 6 MathWorks releases by the Simulink Real-Time and Speedgoat development teams prior to release.

Renewing subscription to the Speedgoat Systems Software Maintenance and Support Service, and the MathWorks Software Maintenance Service guarantees continued access to the latest product technologies. The Maintenance Service can be reinstated after the renewal date has lapsed, however, back maintenance charges plus a reinstatement fee will apply. Staying subscribed is the most cost-effective way to maintain access to the latest technologies and unlimited support.

Some hardware components will inevitably reach their end of life and may not be compatible with future MathWorks releases. We will continue to provide technical support for these hardware components. You can also choose to upgrade this hardware, in which case we will be happy to provide a preferential quote.

Renewal

Subscriptions to the Systems Software Maintenance and Support can of course be renewed. Renewal ensures constant access to the latest Speedgoat software compatible with future releases of MathWorks software, and technical support.

Some hardware components will inevitably reach their end of life and may not be compatible with future MathWorks releases. We will continue to provide technical support for these hardware components. You can also choose to upgrade this hardware; in which case we will be happy to provide a preferential quote.
