Interview with the Winning Team of the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition

Interview with the Winning Team of the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition

The Hyperloop challenge was started by SpaceX with the goal to revolutionize terrestrial transportation. We sponsored the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Hyperloop student team, which set a new speed record of 463km/h (288 mph) at the fourth SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. Toni Jukic, the TUM Hyperloop team leader shared with us how they were able to achieve this.

New Three-Phase Inverter for AC Motor Control with Simulink®

New Three-Phase Inverter for AC Motor Control with Simulink®

The newly introduced 60 V/20 A two-level three-phase inverter module is ideal for driving permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM), induction machines, synchronous generators, and switched reluctance machines. The module is also suitable as a building block for different power converters such as power supplies, battery chargers and AC/DC, DC/DC, or LLC resonant converters.

The new PWR-TPI6020 module for Simulink® is fully compatible with Speedgoat FPGA technologies, such as the IO334 and IO397 I/O modules, and can be easily connected to any Speedgoat real-time target machine.

New Digital I/O Module with Isolated Inputs and Solid State FET Relay Outputs

New Digital I/O Module with Isolated Inputs and Solid State FET Relay Outputs

The new IO291 digital I/O module offers functionality to perform broad voltage range measurements and controls with high current outputs using MATLAB® and Simulink®.

The module is ideal for wide ranging applications such as controlling inductive loads and is also suitable for industries where electrical noise, high common-mode voltage and transient voltage spikes are an everyday occurrence.

Test Automation, Virtual Commissioning and Training Simulator for Industrial Plants

Test Automation, Virtual Commissioning and Training Simulator for Industrial Plants

Are you working on large-scale industrial installations, infrastructure or maritime vehicles like production plants, ships, wind farms, solar parks, power grids, tunnels or train networks with industrial protocols such as PROFINET, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT?

Learn how Speedgoat multi-node simulators, by quickly running hundreds or even thousands of real-time-capable slave and master device simulations on scalable Speedgoat solutions, can empower you to perform test automation and virtual commissioning, and train personnel to operate production plants.
