Support for a wide range of automotive industry protocols and vehicle buses

Whether you are a control design or test engineer, you can expand Speedgoat test systems with dedicated I/O modules or use the onboard ports that support a wide range of industry protocols and vehicle buses (CAN, CAN FD, PSI5, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet among others).

  • For prototyping control designs, use the test system as a controller prototype and let it communicate with other vehicle bus nodes such as sensors, actuators, or other electronic control units (ECUs).
  • For hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing of embedded controllers, use the test system to simulate and emulate specific components or the entire vehicle—ECUs and vehicle buses (restbus simulation); batteries, chargers, and converters; and environmental factors, and more.

For both workflows, you can scale and adapt the test system and its I/O setup to match the changing requirements.

Our test systems integrate with MATLAB® and Simulink®, making the development and testing of control designs seamless. They support test automation and continuous integration workflows and allow you to add third-party tools.
