ISO 15118-3 and DIN 70121-Compliant Controller for EV/EVSE Green PHY Communication

The EV/EVSE CCS (Combined Charging System) Charging Interface is Speedgoat’s communication solution for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and electric vehicles (EV), enabling communication between ISO 15118-3 and DIN 70121-compliant equipment. The EV/EVSE CCS Charging Interface supports control pilot (CP) and proximity pilot (PP) signaling for low-level communication between EVSE and an EV, according to IEC 61851-1 and SAE J1772, and also HomePlug Green PHY according to ISO 15118-3. EV/EVSE charging solutions in combination with the Speedgoat I/O Blockset and the Simulink® workflow allow you to safely test and validate the communication lines between EVSE and an EV.

The data exchange between the Speedgoat real-time target machine and the external EV/EVSE CCS Charging Interface works over Ethernet.

The EV/EVSE CCS Charging Interface is an ideal addition for closed-loop controls and hardware-in-the-loop simulations of EV/EVSE charging interfaces using MATLAB® and Simulink.
