Versatile test system for office, lab, field, and in-vehicle use

The compact and rugged yet performant Baseline real-time target machine is perfect for applications requiring a diverse set of I/O functionality, with up to a few hundred I/O channels. 

This test system is frequently used for desk and field-based rapid control prototyping and smaller-scale desktop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations of digital twins.

With its 2 GHz quad-core CPU and an optional Simulink programmable FPGA, the real-time performance of this testing system is only topped by the Mobile and Performance real-time target machine. 

The Baseline real-time target machine is designed to withstand high levels of shock and vibration, has a passive heatsink for silent fanless operation, and supports installing up to six supported I/O modules. In addition, many of the available I/O modules come with rugged M12 connectors. 

Like all Speedgoat testing systems, it provides unrivaled workflow integration with MATLAB & Simulink.

Achieve most demanding sample rates and compute highly complex applications

Based on the closed-loop sample rate requirement of your application designed with Simulink, this target machine is configured with the best-suited high-performance multi-core CPU and and one optional Simulink programmable FPGA.

Vast range of supported I/O and large I/O expansion flexibility

Based on your required set of I/O functionality, each target machine is pre-configured with the best set of I/O modules, based on your choice from selecting 100+ I/O modules. 

I/O modules are pre-installed at the time the target machine is purchased. Later I/O expansion is typically feasible and may require sending the test system to Speedgoat for the upgrade.

In addition to the rich set of onboard I/O functionality, the Baseline real-time target machine supports installing up to four I/O modules as -S version and up to six I/O modules as -M version.

Following modules are supported for installation into the -S version. High I/O density PMC or XMC form factor I/O modules can only be installed into the -M version.

Connect the target machine with your hardware, right from Simulink

Delivery of each I/O module includes a Simulink I/O Blockset, enabling you to access and configure I/O functionality rapidly right from Simulink. Delivery always contains a suitable cable and a terminal board.

Maintained for the years to come

Speedgoat & MathWorks continuously improve the real-time testing experience for Speedgoat testing systems, accessible through the latest Speedgoat I/O Blockset and Simulink Real-Time software releases and compatible with the latest MATLAB release. In addition, full service and maintenance extension packages also, including technical support, are available.

A default warranty on the hardware is provided for two years and can be extended to five years. Even after the warranty period, Speedgoat continues to repair systems if anything should break. Drop-in replacement options for minimum downtimes are also available.
