IO75x-32: Multi-node Simulator I/O Module for Ethernet-based Industrial Protocols
32 node simulator I/O module for EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, or Modbus TCP with Simulink driver blocks
This I/O module allows simulation of up to 32 industrial Ethernet slave nodes. Protocols supported are either EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or Modbus TCP. POWERLINK support is available on demand.
Advantages
This solution has several advantages when compared with a pure virtual simulator:
- Nodes run in real-time with parallel execution
- Each node is completely independent
- Network collisions can happen in the same way as on a real bus
- Component failure can be simulated by shutting down a node
Applications
This I/O module is suitable for the simulation of large scale industrial setups including:
- Ships and submarines
- Process machinery
- Train networks
- Wind farms
- Solar parks
- Tidal arrays
- Power grids
Industrial protocols currently supported EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and Modbus TCP. POWERLINK support is available on demand.

MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) - MTBF values shown are based on calculation according to MIL-HDBK-217F and MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2; Environment: GB 20°C. The MTBF calculation is based on component FIT rates provided by the component suppliers. If FIT rates are not available, MIL-HDBK-217F and MIL-HDBK-217F Notice 2 formulas are used for the FIT rate calculation.
