The IO34X-51 I/O interface provides two QSFP ports to connect transceivers to the Aurora high-speed serial links provided in the HDL Coder Integration Package.
Each of the 8 fully duplex serial links can operate at rates as high as 12.5 Gbits/s, with latencies as low as 400 ns.
These links can be used to connect the IO34X-51 I/O interface to other FPGA modules, or to other equipment supporting the Aurora protocol, to exchange low latency, high-throughput data. The links are compliant with the Xilinx Aurora 64B/66B SP011 (V1.3) protocol specification.
Typically the QSFP ports are used with optical transceivers to ensure robust signal integrity and device isolation.
Each QSFP port supports four duplex links, which can be distributed to other endpoints as the application requires.
The IO34X-51 I/O interface is designed to work together with the IO34X HDL Coder Integration Package for easy integration into your target Sim-ulink Real-Time™ model.
