Digital I/O Module with Isolated Inputs and Solid State FET Relay Outputs

The IO290 I/O module is a digital input and output module with Simulink® driver blocks and features optically isolated non-polarized inputs with broad voltage compatibility and fully protected high-side FET output switches with high output currents.

Given its broad voltage range, input isolation and high current outputs, the IO290 I/O module can be used in a wide range of applications, for example in the industrial automation, aerospace and automotive sectors, including industries where electrical noise, high common-mode voltages and transient voltage spikes are an everyday occurrence.

This I/O module is ideal for 12, 24, and 28 VDC actuator control and HIL applications using MATLAB® and Simulink.

Digital FET Outputs

  • 8 fully protected high-side power MOSFET switches from 5 up to 34 VDC, and up to 2 A source per channel (5 A maximum current capability across all channels)

  • 8 channels 3.3 V LVTTL digital inputs and outputs (5 V-tolerant inputs)
  • 24 mA sinking/sourcing capability
